01. The 30-Day Return Window
You have 30 days from the day your order is delivered to request a complimentary return or exchange.
To begin, simply email hello@lucentcaratlab.com with your order number, name, and clear photographs of the piece. We respond within 1–2 business days with a prepaid, insured return label and step-by-step dispatch instructions.
Please do not post anything back before receiving your Return Authorization. Every parcel requires our insured booking number to ensure coverage in transit.
02. What Must Accompany Your Return
- The Jewelry Piece: Unworn, undamaged, and in original pristine condition.
- Original Presentation Box: Including inner velvet jewelry casing and protective outer carton.
- Original IGI Diamond Certificate: This unique physical report verifies your stone's authenticity and laser inscription. Replacements ordered from IGI require weeks and incur a $150 laboratory fee if missing.
- Order Proof: Your order confirmation number or packing invoice.
03. Inspection & Condition Guidelines
Upon delivery at our secure studio, every piece is inspected by our lead gemologists to verify the girdle laser inscription against the IGI registry and check the setting.

04. Custom & Bespoke Creations
Pieces designed entirely bespoke from initial sketch or custom-sourced diamonds are created uniquely to your specifications and are non-refundable once casting commences. However, our lifetime craftsmanship warranty and complimentary initial resizing apply fully to every bespoke commission.
05. Engraved Items
Engraved rings can still be returned on our standard 30-day terms! We gently buff the engraving out in our studio and refund you minus a modest $70 bench fee.
06. Processing Your Refund
Once approved after inspection, refunds are processed immediately back to your original payment method (Credit Card, PayPal, Affirm). Funds typically reflect on your bank statement within 5–10 business days.
